Kick-Off in St. Pölten

In order to get the project started, the students of the IMC and the NDU had their first big meeting with their client, the so called Kick-off meeting.
That is why the IMC students and Mr. Steckenbauer set off to St. Pölten early in the morning of the 6th of October where they were warmly welcomed by their colleagues from the NDU and Mr. Zuckriegl.
Of course the students were quite excited, not only because they met their client and some of their stakeholders, but also because they had the chance to get clear-up of all their uncertainties concerning the project. Right in the beginning Mr. Redl, the CEO of the NÖ Bergbahnen BeteiligungsgmbH, managed to clarify a lot of questions and concerns. After that Mr. Burger shared his knowledge about the current touristic situation of Annaberg with the students. The students seized this opportunity to thoroughly question him, thus also learning about the history of the Reidlhütte. In the end, the pictures of some investments which Mr. Pesendorfer and his wife undertook in Annaberg deeply impressed the students. It gave them an idea about what can be achieved with a creative and well thought-out investment in the Annaberg region.

To close the meeting the students were invited for lunch, which, of course, they highly appreciated and also used this time for further networking.
Equipped with a clear picture of the project, the signed project assignment in their pocket and some first creative ideas in their minds the students contently headed back home.
And now it is time for them to get their act together and start working on the project.
