Sunny Saturday in Annaberg

If tourists go somewhere they expect things to happen over there, so if they come back for 5, 6, 10 or whatever time, they want to see something new. And if you can offer them new things they willcome again.
Mr. Pesendorfer

On 22d of October during a sunny Saturday first-year Master Students of the Tourism and Leisure Management Programme in IMC had an extern session as a part of “Experience Design” course and “Reidlhütte NEW” project. The meeting itself took place in Annaberg which is situated in the alpine Mostviertel region of Lower
Austria. An excursion began with onsite inspection of the “Reidlhütte”. Students were very excited to see the hut from the inside and get the “feeling” of the area. All questions about the spot and its facilities were kindly answered by Mr. Burger and Mr.Pesendorfer and his wife which was of a great help for students to complete their first impression of the “Reidlhütte”.

Next part of the excursion took place already in Anna Alm. It is a sweet ski hut with large sun terrace and beautiful panorama at the highest point of the ski resort (am Hennesteck). To reach this point IMC students were lucky to enjoy their ride and get impressed by magnificent views on a chair lift. That was a lovely experience!

The meeting itself began with short IMC–internal presentations of group work
packages. Soon after arrival of NDU students all participants of the “Reidlhütte NEW” project were ready to discuss current issues with each other, getting additional information from Mr. Redl, Burger and Mr.Pesendorfer. To get a better insight into the topic and find out necessary information a number of interviews was carried out after an official part of discussion. During the meeting in Anna Almboth IMC and NDU students had a great opportunity to define ways of cooperation
and integration of both teams in a very homelike atmosphere being invited for a snack by Mr. Burger.

As a result during this Saturday in Annaberg IMC students were able not only to get a right impression of the region, but also to find out some relevant information
for the project, share new ideas and discuss communication issues with NDU students. The meeting in Annaberg was a great chance for its participants to combine educational process with pleasure spending a sweet sunny day in a very picturesque region.
